About the Role
We are fixing what's broken about online education - that it is unstructured, not relevant, and above all, lonely. Across our data science and data analytics program, we are looking for Education Programs Interns who will help us execute educational experiences that live up to the promise of online education unlocking accessibility. - You have experience in online event management and tools used
- You know how to deal with learners - you enjoy supporting their learning journeys!
- You are keen on details, and work well under pressure in a fast-moving environment
- You are agile, flexible, ambitious, a self-starter, and a self-driven individual
- You can contribute at least 20 hours per week during the internship
What you'll learn
- How blended online learning education works
- How to work with a learning management system (LMS)
- You will attend lectures and learn data skills by osmosis 😆
- You will learn how to manage virtual events, socials and the like!
What you'll do
Main Roles
- Assist program lead in coordinating between learner, instructors and mentors
- Set-up Google calendar invites for all events, calls and socials
- Help host Zoom calls of our online classes
- Provide and update course materials using LMS
- Create, monitor and evaluate learner analytics using dashboards

Qualifications
Must-haves
- You have excellent communication skills
- You are highly organized, can multi-task, and enjoy wearing many hats
- You learn new processes quickly and comfortable working with minimal supervision
Nice-to-haves
- You have a previous customer-facing work experience preferably in a startup
- You have a background in virtual event management and planning
- You are interested in data science and analytics
